Built for how smaller businesses buy
More cafes are pouring matcha lattes, more kitchens are working it into desserts, more shops want it on the shelf. The demand is there — the hard part is a supplier that fits the way you actually order.
We supply cafes, restaurants, retailers and hospitality groups across the UK, from retail-ready Brewnova tins to 25kg bulk bags, starting at a single kilogram.
Who it works for
Knowing where you fit helps us recommend the right grade and format from the first order.
The biggest group we supply. A single site doing 15–20 drinks a day gets through a 1kg bag every 2–3 weeks. Ceremonial grade — customers taste the difference in a simple latte.
Culinary grade for pastry, ice cream bases and savoury work where matcha holds up against other ingredients — plus a little ceremonial for tableside service.
Delis, health-food shops and speciality grocers. Brewnova tins arrive packaged and labelled — buy at wholesale, shelve at full retail margin, no repackaging.
Hotels, venues and event caterers ordering across sites. We schedule deliveries so stock arrives before you need it, not after.
Matcha sits beside supplements and speciality teas. Organic certification across every grade makes meeting your customers' standards simple.
Get the grade right
Pick the wrong one and you either overpay for matcha you bake into a cake, or serve a bitter latte that puts customers off for good.

The business case
A matcha latte uses about 2g of powder — roughly 30–60p at wholesale ceremonial pricing — and sells for £3.50–£4.50. That’s an 85–90% gross margin on the ingredient. Compare a double espresso: ~18g of beans at 25–40p, selling for £2.80–£3.50. Matcha wins on both percentage and absolute profit per cup.
No procurement hoops
No trade accounts to apply for, no minimum commitments, no contracts. You order what you need, when you need it.

Make the lattes, bake the brownies, blend the smoothies. See how it performs in your setup before you commit.
Brewnova retail packs have no minimum; bulk bags from 1kg. Most first orders are a 1–2kg trial — that’s fine.
Most cafes settle into a monthly cycle. We can flag when you’re likely running low — no obligation, no contracts.
What sets us apart
A handful of UK matcha wholesalers exist. Most are Japan-only, large-minimum, or middlemen reselling imported stock. Here’s the difference.
Premium Japanese ceremonial alongside cost-effective Chinese culinary. Most competitors force one origin — we don’t think you should choose.
Not a trading company buying through intermediaries. We visit partner farms, test every harvest and negotiate directly — better pricing, full traceability.
No 50kg minimums to unlock wholesale pricing. A cafe ordering 2kg a month gets trade rates from order one.
We answer the phone, recommend grades for your use case and reply — usually same day. Surprisingly rare in the matcha trade.
JAS, USDA and EU organic via CERES on every grade, retail tin to 25kg bag. Certificates for your records or in-store display.
No fixed minimum. Brewnova retail packs can be ordered individually. Bulk matcha bags start from 1kg. We work with cafes ordering a couple of kilos a month right through to chains ordering hundreds.
Yes. We send sample packs so you can test ceremonial and culinary grades in your own kitchen before placing a wholesale order. Just fill in the quote form and mention you would like samples.
Ceremonial grade is smoother and sweeter — best for drinking straight or making lattes. Culinary grade has a stronger, more robust flavour that holds up in baking, blending and cooking. Most cafes use ceremonial for drinks and culinary for food items.
Most wholesale orders dispatch from our Birmingham warehouse in 1-3 working days. Standard and next-day delivery options are available. You get tracking on every order.
Yes. For regular customers, we can set up scheduled deliveries that match your ordering cycle — weekly, fortnightly or monthly. This helps with stock planning and often qualifies for better pricing.
