White Label Matcha
White label matcha and private label matcha supply for brands launching their own matcha products. We handle sourcing, grading and packaging — you get a finished product with your branding on it, ready for retail shelves, your online store, or wholesale distribution.
How it works
You choose the grade, the format and the packaging style. We source the matcha from our farm partners in Japan, fill and pack to your specifications at our UK facility, and deliver finished stock to your door or your fulfilment centre.
The process usually runs like this:
- You tell us what you're building — a retail matcha tin, a cafe-branded pouch, a subscription box product, whatever the format is.
- We send samples of two or three grades so you can taste and compare. Most brands go through at least one round of sampling before committing.
- Once you've picked a grade, we agree on packaging format, labelling and order volume.
- We produce a small pilot run — typically 50kg to 100kg — so you can test market response before scaling.
- Ongoing supply runs on a schedule you set. Monthly, quarterly, or as-needed.
What we offer
Our private label service covers the full product, not just the matcha itself:
- Grade selection — ceremonial for premium positioning, culinary for food-focused products, or a custom blend if you want something between the two.
- Packaging formats — tins, stand-up pouches, sachets, stick packs. We can work with your existing packaging supplier or source packaging to your spec.
- Labelling — supply your own artwork, or brief us and we'll produce label designs that meet UK food labelling regulations.
- Certification — organic, kosher and halal certification transfers to your private label product. Full traceability documentation included.
Minimum order quantities
Our MOQ for white label matcha starts at 50kg of finished product. That's enough for roughly 500 to 1,000 retail units depending on your pack size — a sensible first order for testing a new product without tying up too much capital.
Reorders can be smaller once the relationship is established. We'd rather help you grow steadily than push for volume you can't shift.
Why brands choose us
We're matcha specialists, which means the product knowledge runs deeper than a generic co-packer can offer. We'll tell you which grade actually suits your target market, flag if your pricing won't work at the grade you've chosen, and help you position the product sensibly. Some of our white label customers started with culinary grade because it was cheaper, then upgraded to ceremonial after realising their audience could taste the difference.
We source direct, hold UK stock, and pack in-house. That keeps lead times short — four to six weeks from confirmed order to delivery on a standard run — and gives you more control over quality than routing through multiple intermediaries.
